Characters . . .

Well, here's all the heroes and villains that populate Xyber 9's planet of Terrana . . .

Jack
The hero of our story, Jack seems to be a wandering orphan, just trying to survive the harsh world of Terrana and maybe find a little adventure while he's doing it. He wants to be a hero, protecting those weaker than him, but his plans to date have come up short. That is, until he stumbles upon Xyber 9 . . .

Xyber 9
The last of his kind remaining, Xyber 9 is a sentient supercomputer capable of controlling the technology of the old civilization. He has free will, unlike his predecessors, and can probably choose what he wishes to do, but being what he is kinda limits that. Xyber can be quite persnickety at times, and overtalkative as well, but overall he's a great help to Jack and his group.

Anakonda
A wild girl as one with nature, Anakonda knows much about the dangers of Terrana's wilderness. Her senses are rather finely tuned, and she often can hear or smell things that the others can't, making her the best tracker of the group. Ana can do what appears to be some kind of teleporting, but only for short distances. She has an affinity with wild animals, especially snakes, and she uses a huge bat for transportation. The snake girl can be quite willful and jealous, and she has little respect for so-called 'civilization' . . .

Ikira
Ikira is a proud and honorable warrior with a rather dark past . . . he was Machina, and once served as one of Machestro's advisors, until the dark lord betrayed him and left him to die in the sunlight. He was rescued in time and survived, and is probably one of the only Machina to do so. Jack decided he wanted Ikira for a teacher, and the old warrior was happy to oblige, showing the lad what it means to be a true warrior . . .

Willy
One of the more cool and collected members of the team, Willy's fazed by practically nothing. Nothing, except the crazy schemes his friend Mick tends to come up with . . . He's quite loyal to his friend, saying he would leave the one time Mick said he was going to desert the group. Willy is a good mechanic as well as a weapons and explosives expert, coming in handy whenever things need to be repaired or blown to smithereens.

Mick
The schemer of the group, Mick is in the hero business for the profit and babe magnet potential. He'll do nearly anything to make a quick buck, and that often gets him in a lot of trouble. Luckily for Mick, Willy is usually nearby to save him. He isn't very trusting, but eventually comes to rely on the others . . .

Queen Tatania
The leader of the rebellion against King Renard, Tatania's got her hands full keeping the despot in check. Luckily for her she has the HMS Independence and Jack and company on her side. She's a very practical woman, and has a hard time believing that Machestro is more than an ancient myth . . .

Machestro
The lord of the Underworld, not to mention ruler of the Machina, Machestro seems to be the cause of all Terrana's troubles. He probably had a hand in starting the war between Tatania and Renard, and he keeps it going by giving Renard access to his Machina armies. Machestro seeks the Xyber to activate the Eye of Darkness, a device that will spread eternal darkness over the planet and make it possible for the Machina to exist on the surface world during the day. He's capable of firing off green energy blasts to attack his enemies and subsequently punish his lackeys . . .

King Renard
A despot who wants to rule Terrana with an iron fist, King Renard started a war with Tatania in an attempt to conquer all. It's unsure how he hooked up with Machestro, but the dark lord promised him power beyond his dreams in exchange for Xyber 9. Renard does find the Xyber, but Jack got a hold of it before Machestro did. Now the king pursues Jack's group relentlessly, with Machestro punishing him severely for his failures . . .
